I finally got it!

Well, my week-end started out wonderfully. I came home Friday night to a big surprise from my wonderful, devoted husband. He had purchased for me the Cricut create. Even before I could open the box he said "just take it back and get the larger one". Apparently he had been looking at it when he got home and decided that it wouldn't make big enough cuts and wanted me to get the Cricut Expression! So, out on Saturday I went and I got the LAST one in stock. I stated using it right away. I lucked out and found someone within 30 miles of me who sold vinyl so I ran by and purchased some on Saturday as well and I have been having a TON of fun with this thing.

It's funny actually but I started looking all over the house for things I could "personalize". Here is one that I did on my cat's food container. Please ignore the fact that the letters are not quite straight. My 10 year old daughter wanted to help so I figured it wouldn't hurt. I will post more once I get some things together. I'm having a blast!

New Products

So lately I have been looking into several new products that are on the market and drooling over them. The one that has caught my attention the most has been the Cricut (http://www.cricut.com) cutter. I have been looking at vinyl cutters for almost a year now and I think this is what I really want more than anything. It is light weight and compact. Since I am a working mother as well as the director and coach of our cheerleading team and right now I am the only parent working since we have decided that my husband will stay home and go back to school, I do not have a ton of time to do things that I enjoy. I have read several reviews on the different models that are offered but I have not decided which one I would like. I am leaning more toward the Cricut creation due to the cost.
